Once the group list has downloaded to your PC you may subscribe to any newsgroups of your choice.
In the "Display newsgroups which contain" text box type a topic that interests you to bring up relevant newsgroups. Double click on the newsgroups those you wish to subscribe to. The groups subscribed to appear with a newspaper style icon next to them. Due to a bug in Internet News the OK button (highlighted in green) is obscured by the Go to button, click on this button to subscribe to these groups. |
